Archived Webinar: Make 2011 Your Hottest & Most Amazing Year Ever

by Kevin Delaney

Thanks to all who attended our awesome Webinar about making this year your best ever! It was great to chat live, and and I appreciated hearing everyone’s thoughts & insights.

It’s a new year! For most of us, this means re-evaluating various aspects of our businesses and our lives, of seeing what’s working, and determining what we need to work on.

Make 2011 Your Best Year EverIn this Webinar, I talk about setting both internal & external goals for yourself, as well as the fear of failure that so often holds us back. I suggest beginning your thinking about what you want to improve in your life by first identifying and appreciating what’s going well for you right now.

I also take live calls from listeners — these are a lot of fun! It’s a great session, and if you missed it (or want to hear it again), it’s available for listening & download (44 minutes):

Was bummed I was going to miss this event on Friday, so I am glad it got postponed. (Sorry to hear that it came at the expense of your health, however.)

Looking forward to a positive kick off to 2011.
The goals are the same, but it is nice to get a little mental boost, once in awhile.

Kevin you are right on about looking at the positive strengths that exist and working to build upon them, rather than focusing on the negative weaknesses. American business generally is based on a problem oriented focus which I find deflates motivation. I’m a half glass full rather than empty gal!

I started my current business 35 years ago and decided I would like to have a change for the next phase in my life.Just recently at the age of 68 started in Voice acting. I have been hired by a big audiobook co. in Michigan to record a book and have done a few small VO jobs and an on camera job (that was a surprise for me!!) So for those of you out there who think you are beyond starting up a new career ignore those internal negative voices. Have a go at something you really want to do. Check out your strengths and see where they fit. Know your own strengths and weaknesses(Gotta keep a balance too!) and plan accordingly. You will be pleased that you have tried at the very least, and learn a great deal along the way.

Thanks again Kevin. I really enjoy your blog and webinars- breath of fresh air!

Hi Kevin, thank you very much for the webinar. It’s very encouraging and inspiring. We often forget to reflect and appreciate what worked in the past year. You are right on we need to think about what person we want to be at the end of every year. I’ve been doing that every year. Thank you again.
